Could someone please tell me how to wire a Clifford up as a Turbo timer.

Do I need to purchace an add on module??

I've heard there is a timer wire on all Ciffords but what do I do with it?

Cheers..

Dannyboy.

One of the auxilliary 'channel outputs' of a Clifford may be used to provide the turbo timer function with the addition of a relay and a bit of programming, but this is a matter for a Clifford installer, and it does compromise the integrity of the immobilisation. Although I'm regularly asked by customers willing to pay for it, I always persuade them otherwise. It's only after hard driving that it's particularly necessary to allow the turbo to cool down by idling the engine for a couple of minutes, and it's not that often that you'd ever need to do it (pulling into the services from the motorway for instance) so surely you can just finish listening to the end of that song on the radio before you turn the engine off and get out, and save yourself a couple of quid in the process.
