Car arrives in about 3 weeks, I've decided that the Trackstar 24hr Protector looks the best deal.

I believe that the insurers (Tesco) will not cover the car for theft until I've got it fitted. Can I just take it to a dealer on the day I get it or do I need to book something in advance ?

I got mine fitted the other day, and yes Tesco has made it compulsory for tracker to be fitted (Am with them too!)

Ring Gap Security they organise the fitting for Trackstar, I called them last thurday and mine was fitted on Monday, so not bad timewise, you could always get them to fit at the dealer before you collect the car?

After phoning the RAC up it was seven days when the car could be done... it took around one or two hours to get the thing fitted.

I would see if you could get them to do it at the dealers, from talking to the guy that did mine, they would be bothered by that at all.
