So after two Leggies I treated myself to an 06 MY Outback (which I am very pleased with). The alarm I assume is a Sigma M30, i know what i am doing with it and want to enable auto locking (anti hijack) so i choose 4 from the keypad, the little red LED flashes away and I think hey presto I'm done, but no. Oddly when I now take the key out of the ignition the car unlocks if it was already locked (by the internal lock button for example) or makes the unlock sound if it was already unlocked, whch is what I would expect it to do. The problem is that it never locks automatically when i turn the ignition on. I have tried everythig to get it to work but it just wont.

If anyone has any ideas, glead to hear them ........................
