Default Security Posts - worth the cost?

Seen these:

security posts, parking post, security parking post, hinged parking post, elitesecuritysupplies.com

I am thinking of getting two fitted on my private drive way to protect my cars, they seem easy to setup and I don't mind spending a minute to bolt them in each time I park the car.

Would definitely put potential thiefs off and coupled with a decent alarm system + blackjack should do the trick (and a CCTV camera pointing at the car :P ).

Question is, do insurance companies acknowledge the security posts and reduce your premium?

mate

These ones would be better to go for Rising bollards, automatic bollards, static bollards, ATG Access Ltd ™

As for a decent alarm, blackjack, cctv etc...... I would say you can never have enough security on a scooby.

From an insurance perspective - most of them wont care about the cctv or the security post. They just want your money
