i'm a ******** i just listed this same thread in general without seeing security! anyway i have £500 to spend on an alarm can anyone give me advice please? does anyone know about the viper 480vx? that seams appealing but i haven't got much of a clue.

 

Viper is made by the same people (directed) that make clifford. The 480xv is the only cat 1 in the uk market that had a 2way lcd pager remote and is very good. I have the same system on my car. The alarm also has loads of channels to add extras such as window lift, remote start etc. Your budget will easily cover the cost of the alarm.
