Too 'LOUD'

Have got a MY01 which i fitted the Graham Goode back box too.
Removed it after 1 week due to it being too loud at motorway cruising speeds (Group a rally car),any opinions on what is the best for 'some' noise,appearance and better engine response.
Cant be too loud as SHE moans.

Is there such a thing as a quiet exhaust?? (apart from standard), I have yet to find one.
You can try dynamatting the panels and boot, that should stop a lot of the sound.
Failing that buy a pair of ear defenders for the passenger
