It was bad enough forking out £400 for a Tracker 3 yeasr ago that has to be in place for insurance needs, may or may not work and can possibly be disabled easily when you really need it, but then I find out that it can't be taken out and put in my new car.
Apparently the RAC Trackstar can be swapped, but isn't on my choice list from its even more dubious operation.

So what is so different about Tracker?

Is there another tracker/ alert system on the market that is more reliable, more hidden and can be swapped around, all for £300-£400?
