Default Sigma M30 Problems - half the car flashes

Hi there, first post here.

THe alarm isn't in a scooby, its in a pug 106 gti, but as its a standard alarm in many scooby's, i thought id try here.

basically, whenever i arm/disarm my alarm, only one side (off side of the vehicle) indicators light up. they all used to flash, and the indicators all independantly work, so i was wondering where i would start looking for a loose/broken connection?

Thanks

Garry

Cheers for the link! looks like a new unit then. luckily i can put up with it for the time being, although i will tap it a few times tomorrow

While you're here, i found the code for auto arm with door locking, so entered it on the keypad, then changed the time down to 20 seconds, using function code 17.

So i turn off the ignition, exit the vehicle, then shut all doors, wait upto 2 minutes, and it doesnt auto arm. i checked the function status using FC 44, and the led flashes twice, saying that the fucntion is on, so im just wondering why nothing actually happens?

i enabled auto re-arm, and that works fine.

Cheers in advance

Did you already have the Auto Arm (03) feature enabled on the vehicle before adding "with locking" (04) - check with 43. If not, then you will need to turn the basic "Auto Arm" 03 feature on aswell.

With some locking options such as Safety Lock etc you sometimes also need to arm/disarm the alarm a couple of times before the feature becomes active.

Nice one!

Added in the auto arm, and it now works a treat!

I did initially think that, but i didnt want to arm them both at the same time and confuse it and it all fudges up, locking me out!

Excellent, thanks for your help
