intellistart problem!!!!
Hi All,
A friend has just purchased a new car (not a scooby i'm afraid), but i'm hoping someone here might be able to help???
Basically it has intellistart which was fitted by the previous owner but it won't work!!!!
I've managed to get hold of a copy of cliffnet wizard pro, and have found out the following....
1) When looking under the last menu it says "intellistart inactive"
2) And when you look under the key option it says "nocode" or similar when you try to program the RPM.
3) When looking under a sub menu in the key menu (bottom right corner) is doesn't seem to have any knowledge of the other clifford inputs or outputs!! i.e. when you press the brake it doesn't come up as brake pressed and it doesn't think the ignition is on when you press pulse ignition, but it does come on!!!! All these input and output options activate correctly when looking under the far right menu option though, so why not when looking under intellistart menu!!!!!!!! Arrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
(The RPM signal wire which can cause a problem if incorrectly attached goes to an un-comon wire on an injector which i have been led to believe is correct, please advise if not so!).
Does this mean anything to anybody???? and how can I/We make it work?
We have both looked at the wiring and it looks to be ok! Which has confused us no end. Really not sure where to start and with christmas and new year his funds are pretty low, so a clifford dealer is out of the question for the time being!!!!!
Any help would be gratefully received
PS If required can post up how its been wired. just let me know.
Cheers
