alarm question
You need a dual zone microwave sensor - these are made by a number of manufacturers and the outer zone can be set to give an output when someone gets close to your vehicle.
These can be linked to your existing alarm. The standard UK Subaru system can be used to arm the sensor, although the sensors outer zone output would need to operate a separate buzzer.
Maplins should have all the bits you need for around £30
