Default Alarm Diagnostic machines/thing u plug into the alarm...

When i had my Viper alarm installed, had some issues with it, took it back 3 times, anyhoo,the alarm guy said i could buy myself the same biut of kit they use, about £30 they are,apparantly, they plug into the little black nbit they install in the cockpit area,anyone know the name of these machines ?

My alarm needs its fobs programming everytime battery runs out, and its like every 6 weeks, its a display fob.

It's called a Bitwriter.



p.s. Just called directed and these are only available to installers. They are not to be sold to customers because they could cause problems if the unit is programmed incorrectly.

Cheers for that, found out the name a little while ago so might have posted on another topic you replied to where to get them,so ignore that then LOL !!

thought they were specialist bit of kit, but the alarm fitter said u could get them easily ?!?!?

Oh well..........
