About to pick up my Jap import, wanting one for years only now in a position to buy, cant wait to get rid of VTS.I have read all the alarm posts and are now more confused than ever, simple question what Cat 1 should i buy? Anybody recommend a good installer in Barnsley/Rotherham/Doncaster area.

 

depends what sort of budget you are on, for around £250 you can get Toad 606 or Toad C5 or Viper 460xv, and for around £300 you can get the viper 480xv. have a look at the yellow pages

 

What car are you getting? Would recommend the Viper or the Clifford. The Viper 480XV comes with a cool LCD pager Remote fob and The Clifford C650 comes standard with extras such as the Proximity sensor (warnaway) and the Blackjax (anti-hijack system).
