Unhappy Black Jax/Intelliguard 750

Hi guys I have the intelliguard 750 with Black Jax, today I became stranded miles away rom home because the system decided it didn't want to accept the code on the keypad!!

Also upon disconnecting the battery the alarm became silent which shouldn't happen as they have a backup battery o their own?

Has anyone else had similar problems with this system?

I have tried getting in touch with the installer today but no answer
Also it's been over 12 months since the install so don't think it's covered on the warranty anymore?

Any help would be really appreciated guys

Cheers

From what I can remember, haven't done a 750 for absolutely ages, it comes with a standard siren. The battery backup siren was an optional extra. That means if you disconnect the battery it shouldnt sound.

It may be a fualt with the valet switch that is causing the system not to take in your number. Try getting a replacement from a local clifford dealer, that should get you going again if that is the problem.

The Intelliguard 750 does not come standard with battery backup siren. If you had it installed over 12 months ago then the valet switch will not be covered under warranty. They are not expensive about £10 for a replacement.

Where are you based?
