Immobiliser problem
Wonder if anyone can help before I call in an autospark.
Got a 93 ra, with a standard Meta Cat2 immobiliser.
Its been tucked up in bed over the winter so its not been run in a few months. Went to start it and its just not playing.
Now I can see that its something to do with the immobiliser, the flashing light isnt working on the immobiliser itself, ive checked the fuses and they are ok.
Something on the immobiliser is working as when I insert the fob I still get an audible beep beep, but no led on the button itself (which it used to do).
Any input would be much appreciated.

Took the battery away to get it checked today.
12.17 volts and 10.14 volts under load. so its ok.
Re-attached it to the car and hey-presto, the immobiliser is now working.
So all I really done was disconnect and reconnect the battery.
Gremlins me thinks. But hey its working, for now.
