clifford no chirp problem
i have a clifford 600 which seems to have lost chirps.
alarm ,prox etc works fine but no chirps on arm/disarm.
have tried prog back on to no avail .
blackjack also chirps 3 times as normal but does not chirp when code is entered.
disconnected car battery overnight ,next morning chirping fine , then lost it again next day!
anyone???

Guys, it is the battery pack in the siren that's fubared. The arm / dis-arm chirps etc use the sirens internal battery but when the alarm sounds it uses the car battery (that is until power is disconnect then silence)
When the fob battery is low you get a difference tone of chirp when arming and disarming.
The life time warranty covers the CPU not the siren nor the remotes. They have the standard 12 months warranty.

Can anyone categorically state that this is an issue with the siren battery? I've had this issue on my 600 for a while... If so, how much for a dealer to sort it, or even replace myself etc?

Who installed the new alarm ??
Do you know if they had the siren on charge whilst they were fitting the remaining items of the system ?
You buy anything that have rechargable batteries....the instructions are always to charge the batteries prior to use as you have no idea how long the batteries have been manufactured and then how long they have been in the siren (in this case) prior to installation.
Have you had a few long journeys in the car since the install ? The siren has smart charging ie will only starting charging the internal batteries when the engine is running.
