Default Dual zone proximity sensor, warning chirps?

Am I correct in thinking that the above prox sensor gives a warning chirp noise when it senses someone close to the car. (clifford c600).
But should it not sound the alarm after giving 3 warning chirps?
Its just that my nieces were playing close to the car the otherday & I noticed that it chirped more than 3 times (more like 5 to 6) without sounding the alarm?

Anyone?

No, it will continue to do the warning chirps all day long. The old sense&tell gave a couple of voice warnings before triggering but C500/600/650 etc will not trigger from outer zone warnings.
