Bollards!.....anyone got one on their drive?
Has anyone got a Security Bollard on their driveway for their Scoobs or other marque?
I'm looking at getting a Scoob in the next few weeks and really can't face rearranging mine and the Mrs car constantly to block mine in so thought a bollard might be the answer.
How much are we talking about here? I've looked at a few sights on the web but they all seem to be business related. Do they normally fit them as well?.....my DIY skills are pretty much NIL and going down a foot or two into my drive with some hire tool seems like a disaster waiting to happen!

lol make sure you dont get an evil bollard that will jump out and hit your scoob, as a bollard used to seem to jump in the way whenever my dad was driving our old van thing lol

You could try looking for Rhino Protec posts - I've got a telescopic one
They do normal, "home" sized and "industrial / commercial" ones which are built like brick outhouses...
I personally moved away from pin-jointed, ones that lay flat when down - I got the impression that they're easier to disable / remove Also, anything that's removable has to be either stored somewhere until needed (e.g. if you go out for the day and don't put it back into the hole) or you've got to mess around with a padlock.
The only downside of the Protec ones (and any similar lock version) is that the locks can freeze up so you might have a frustrating 10 mins in a morning trying to free it - I use a tin can over the top of the post at night which generally solves this

Try these.
http://www.safetyshop.com and do a search for an RPL101
Not particulary cheap but probably cheaper than your insurance excess!
