If you do a search on here you'll find some people swear by Clifford whilst others think they are the proverbial pain. You probably need an experienced installer to get the best from them.
That said, I know of a couple of VSIB installers in the south who will install Cliffords if asked, but don't recommend them for Imprezas. And one said that he thought they were seriously overpriced.
I decided to go for a Cobra 6422 ( - a simple to use, reliable and trouble-free system) and a Barrier Deadlock. Two excellent, independent security systems for no more than the cost of a Clifford 600.

I also went with the Cobra. Simple to use - reliable so far and it's Cat 1 so the insurance accept it. I think you can go far too far overboard with alarm features. At the end of the day if they really want it they will take it.
As well as the alarm I have a disklok - always fitted - in my drive and the works car park. I leave the car in gear, remove the radio face plate and put the aerial down when I leave it in the street.
If it gets nicked then I probably don't want it back thus no Tracker.

PS: I do have Clifford alarm stickers still though! That'll also fool them...
