Thanks Steven, it took the guy 7 and a half hour's to fit ,
he did use his lap top to set everything up!
i know it can be done without a lap top you can use you valet switch and master remote but i dont know the code?
i did not want to ring the guy yet as he only fitted it yesterday, i dont want him to think im a pain in the neck calling him evey day or so..

If you do ring him he'll probably tell you to wait a few days for it to 'bed in' anyway.
Are you sure about being able to alter it from the remote / plain view switch? I was under the impression (Could well be wrong ) that the prox was set up with an analogue dial on the control unit.
Like I said, could be wrong...

Try This
Using the master remote:
press the level shift button on the side of the remote 3 times
then press button 4 once
siren will chirp once
led will come on
then to adjust the internal zone press button 4 to decrease
button 2 to increase
to end internal adjustment press button 3 and the siren will chirp
then to adjust the external zone press button 4 to decrease
button 2 to increase
when you have finished adjusting: press button 1, you will get 2 chirps
press button 1 again you will get 3 chirps
thats it
