Question Reversing sensors used as proximity alert?

I notice that Directed supply reversing sensors as an add on http://www.sjfvehiclesecurity.co.uk/...g_sensors.html.

As the proximity sensors on Concept alarm/immobilsers only work through glass, is it possible to use these reversing jobbies to sound the warn away? eg if someone is hanging around the boot area of a car?

No you can't use them because they will trigger constantly when parked too close to a solid object as they do when reversing to an object. The dual zone microwave on a clifford relies on the transmittivity of a moving object to trigger it so when the object stops moving the clifford stops responding to it.
