have a terzo and all of a sudden if i try to lock the car with the key fob, it locks the doors, but after about 30 seconds or so the alarm goes off!!

but i have noticed that when you press the keyfob button there is a high pitched noise from under the bonnet?

i am not very good with cars as i am a newbie.

but as it stands i cannot enable the alarm!!

Please can anyone help?

not sure, but it is a standard that came with the car.
