hi all

my remote cetral locking is not working i can lock and unlock all the doors with the key but not with the remote its a cobra 6422
any ideas plz

take the remote apart, on the circuit boared you will see the round contacts where the buttons connect when pressed. They will probably be covered in black carbon, get something hard but not too hard and scrape it off, change the battery while your there and put it back together.

 

the romote works the alarm but not the locks it makes a noise but dont lock them so cant be that thx

 

What makes a noise, the alarm or the car locking?

Have a look for an orange and a violet wire coming out of the alarm control box and check the two fuses.

It may be the motor in the drivers door.
