Go one of these today...from 50 to 35 in Halfords - any experiences? - seems rather good!

Sorry to say, they are GBP32.50 at Argos

Oh, and there are easy ways to remove them (which i won't disclose on the BBS!).

I've got one too, I suppose they help as a visual deterrant too. If there's two cars and one has the added Steering lock then hopefully the inbred muppet of a car thief will go for the other car. I've heard they come off too easily too and they catch the missus head as you lift it over to put in back seat.....
