if you want gimicks and unreliability go for clifford but if you want a good alarm go for a TOAD AI606 ive been an installer for the past 12 years and cliffords are okay but the hide away units are so big you cant really hide them i install both and i have a toad on mine excellent alarm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I spoke to my Clifford installer he said that the Cliffords are far superior to the TOADs but *much* more difficult and time consuming to install therefore he recommends the TOADs to people to make his life easier, not cos they're better in any way.
The only problems I've really heard of with Cliffords are due to installation, you need to be a top notch installer to do the job properly and it seems like there aren't too many out there who are capable unfortunately.
