Does anyone know what security comes standard with the Jap WRX, I should get it in the next couple of weeks so need to know what i will have to install to make my insurance co happy.

 

In short, nothing

You will need to fit a Thatcham Category 1 alarm. These start at around 300 quid fully fitted.

As Nick correctly states absolutely nothing ! On this year there wasn't even a transponder immobiliser on the UK cars and these were fitted with a Cobra Cat 2. You may be lucky and have a motor in the door if the previous Japanese owner has had remote CDL installed.
