Help!

I am about to receive a MY03 inported WRX in Feb, and it does not come with a Thatcham 1 alarm as standard (apparenly the UK importer fits them here). Does anyone know the make and model of the alarm that the importer fits? Where can I get one fitted in the central Scotland area, and what is the likely cost?

Subaru UK used to fit Sigma M30s to the classic shape and I think they still do to the newer model. Make sure you get it installed by a VSIB approved installer and get the certificate etc. I paid £275 for mine 3 years ago. Best car alarm I've had - 100% reliable and no false alarms.

 

As mentioned, always use a VSIB accredited installer. You could also do far worse than a piece of Clifford with the tried and tested BlackJax feature. Make sure your local thieves aren't going to be the first to appropriate your keys for a joyride in your area's first '03 Impreza!
