Sigma pin no.
#1
Just a quick question to anyone with Sigma alarm as fitted to late classic shape UK cars, how many digits make up the pin number for the alarm ..... i've just had a spare key programmed in as the car only came with one!!! (thanks to Days of Chelmsford for their help with this as i never had the key number either) .... and the pin number that I.M. gave to Days consists of 16 digits ... seems a lot of numbers to me .... soooo, is this right amount of numbers then?

The 16-digit one is most likely the alarms serial# or a seperate security code for the keyfob. In the back of my blue Sigma manual there's a silver M30 label with a 16-digit serial number on it.
The security pin for arming/disarming the alarm is defo a 4-digit job.
The documents for my car (MY99) came with two silver labels ith the pre-programmed pin on them. The Dealer kept one and I was given the other.
It should read:-
IMPORTANT
Your pre-programmed PIN is
xxxx
To change your PIN - refer to the
System Operating Instructions
S/N xxxxxxxxx - xxxxxxx
If you can't find it, thena qualified alarm installer should be able to reset the code for you.
Hope that helps some,
Stefan

I recently bought a scoob but the guy didn't know the pin number for the sigma, it is 4 digits.
I went to Lethal Alloys in Crawley 01293 427407 and the guy there 'Chris' reprogramed the keypad for me for £12.50.
You must take both keyfobs with you.
