Low negative - central locking!
#3
Its got remote central locking on now but the current alarm (scorpion) can cope with positive and negative but im changing alarms cos i haven't got shock sensors, proximity sensors or pager output. The new alarm will only do "low neg" central locking.
Its a 4 door.
Ideally i'd like to add the extra bits to the scorpion but I dont think i can do do it!

If it is approximately V-reg or newer, the central locking is a single wire system whereby momentarily cutting the trigger wire will lock the doors, and a low current pulse to ground on the wire will unlock the doors. Earlier than this will require a locking motor in the driver's door. If your alarm is only capable of pulsing two-wire locking systems, the addition of extra relays will be required for both of the above scenarios.

If that is the case, give me a ring on 0113 2441448 during office hours and I can explain or fax you a diagram of how to make an alarm with low current negative locking outputs run the lock motor you'll need to install in the driver's door.
