Question

My central locking appears to have stopped working - could this be connected to the temporary detachment of my clifford alarm ????

The alarm is back in use - but the central locking isn't !!

Any ideas ........

Thanks

Did you re-set the alarm? - you seem to have to do this everytime you disconnect a Clifford.

If your scoob is late 98/early 99 till present with factory multipoint locking, removing the alarm breaks the trigger wire which comes from the drivers door to the central locking ecu. If you can find it, it is a thin white wire which comes out of the loom from the door in the driver's kick panel which is probably the place where the installer has made their connection. Temporarily joining the cut wire back together again should get your locking going till the alarm goes back in, at which point you'll have to take your temporary link back off.
