Cupraderv : If you cover the courier delivery charge, £12.50, I can send you a used one out overnight. It is in good condition with heatshields and came off an owner's car when he had ported headers and matched up-pipe.
You could also have an O/E item with the heatshiels off and heatwrapped for £25 including delivery or a new aftermarket item £50 or £60 wrapped or a new stainless steel purpose designed, slip jointed, DEI heat wrapped with five new studs £139.
Lots to choose from and all available to arrive next day.
Put WD40 or similar on the fasteners at the top and bottom of the up-pipe. Three of the nuts from the up-pipe studs hold the turbo in place. You need to get the car up in the air and a ramp makes the job easy. When disconnected the up-pipe comes out from the bottom. On odd cars the heat shield fouls and it is necessary to slack off the engine mountigs and jack the engine a couple of inches.
harveysmith1@btopenworld.com if you want an up-pipe.
