Fuel Pump, VF34, 535's (for more top end power), remap (all on top of the Full Decat already fitted to the car) will yeald APPROX 330bhp, 295lb/ft.............PPP-equipped STi killing power!

Probably cost you 1300 supplied and fitted as well!

It seems to be getting more acceptable to run a Newage without a remap (as the previous owner has done so for a while now) but the CHCK ENGINE Light will be lit up and will go out when:

A - you get the remap (mapper adjusts the Lambda Sensor signal voltage to fool the ECU)

B - you fit a CEL mod (resistor that changes the Lambda Sensor signal and fools the ECU)

But if you do so I must insist that you fit a fuel pump ASAP for the long term safety, if you choose B

Wallace Per4mance do remap for Scoobs and Russell has done some excellent results on the Evo's from there........but AndyF is the Scottish choice for 99% of the Subaru guys who I have done work for.

Firstly your running a fuel pump that has been in there for 6 years and 60K.

Secondly, they can get tired so then pump less.

Trust me , if your keeping the car or getting it mapped either way, GET A FUEL PUMP. You can get them for 70 pounds (Walbro 255l/hr) and they only take 1 hour (MAX) to fit.

70 to lower the risk of a blown engine??? sounds decent enough to me.

Give Gavin Wallace, Russell or AndyF a call and discuss your needs with them and see what they advise............after all, one of them will probably be mapping the car in the near future?

Russell

ps - AndyF is doing an ECUTek remap GB on SIDC for 500+VAT. Might be worth adding your name to it?
