Why a paddle? How much power you running/looking to run?

I know someone who can do it in Aberdeen

Exedy STi Clutch Kit (230mm), Skimmed flywheel (exchange), Spigot Bearing, fitting - 425

Lots of eBay sellers that can supply the clutch at a good price if you want to get that yourself?

If you want to go a little further south, try AWD in Perth (01738 633336)

Russell replaced my clutch and flywheel early last year amongst one or two other modifications .

I believe the price was about £300ish less than a garage would be. You'd be mad to go anywhere else IMO. He also guarantee's his work.

update/brain wave

took the scoob to the stealers in east tullos. guys gave me a quote of £450 not incl vat for fixing the speedo drive from the gearbox. (12 hour job he said).

am a thinking about just buying a reconditioned gearbox to fit if cheaper.

and i still need my clutch cx'd

Assumed this meant you were going to PM me and ask about booking it in - I've been abroad in the USA and Asia so only had 2 weeks at home in the past 14!

PM me if you want it done and I'll do it for the same costs and I quoted before (425). I can get it done this time home (if you want me to do it)....after doing DuncATR's, Power Junkie's, Ac!d's and Martins.

Somewhere in the first 3 weeks of November be OK for you?

Russell

ps - 400-ish (including VAT?) from Wallace is a good price if they are installing an Exedy STi clutch kit!

i hope they have skimmed the flywheel, or al be looking for a new clutch again in a short whiley.

548! - Shame you couldn't wait then isn't it?

At that money, I'd hope they did skim the flywheel!

No offence taken M8, it's your car and you need to do what you feel is right.

I'm more than busy for the next few trips at home judging by the PM's and emails I've been getting out here!

Russell

ps Boyakasha is trying to jump the queue on you guys, you'll need to teach him some respect at the next monthly meet :P

That's what they all say. I wouldn't put a new clutch on an old, unskimmed flywheel....asking for trouble in about 5000 miles time tbh.

Hope it ends up being OK for you.
