Russ kinda turned up late and was actually just last in the queue after having to fiddle a bit due to the turbo going in the night before.
Anyone up for a run in a few weeks as I am having my Unichip mapped to the car so will drop in by STAR on the way back from Aberdeen ??

Cheers Pete. Nice to see you put them in order of horses at wheels - that puts me second!!
"V8 astra" - you wish Rob!!!
Sorry I didn't come over for a chat, will do next time. Arrived late and was pretty busy catching up with people I knew and watching nice machines on the rollers. Anyway, who would've taken me seriously at a MLR/Scoobynet day until they saw those power figures!
Oh, and yep, it handles fine. Maybe not so good as a scooby on the bumpy twisties, but managed to give a P1 and a Skyline a hard time on the smooth fast sweepers of Goodwood in the summer! (before THEY overcooked it and the skyline put the P1 in the litter!!)
Especially pleased to have more bhp@wheels than the organiser!!

Russs,
Put yer han bag away
Remember a lot of the motas running only have minor upgrades done m8 Try goin up the 1/4 or round Knockhill against the big fellas mota, u`ll find out very quickly that u r trying to compare apples n oranges Add in2 the equasion wot u`ve spent on mods as well and who`s laughing now ?
At the previous RR day there was a skyline there with 100+ bhp (no surprise) more than "big red" my scoob. But on the quarter the scoob kicks his butt by over a second and the terminal speed of the scoob was 6 mph faster Horses 4 courses m8.
BTW u lads might b interested in http://groups.yahoo.com/group/crail-thrashers it`s where we cyberhang

Hehe
Thought that might get a few interesting replies
John, would LOVE to buy your Evo. Swap it for a Vauxhall??
Fair trade innit?!!? Mines got more PAW! (sorry!)
Pete, wooohoo! Bring it onnnnnnnnnnn!
Apples and oranges eh? More like limes and lemons!
Ermm, I haven't spent that much on my car, really. Prolly less then a decent exhaust for a skyline! Not kiddin.
Never said I drove a motorsport special. Would just surprise a few people, thats all. Hopefully it did last Sunday. If I can scrabble together enough for a deposit on one of your fancy jap machines.............. then I'll spend it on my lemon and really show (some!) of you up!!
Cheers

Pete you know the score. When I had the Scoob, along came an Evo on the rollers and I thought...HAD TO HAVE ONE.
So guess what, I'm off to the vauxhall dealers at the weekend. Probably looking at a Vectra tdi, with a possible FSE pump upgrade.
I'm seriously looking at selling the 6 in the very near future, if the money is right. I'll then pop off to my nearest..........dealer and treat myself to a ....... Fill in the blanks. What do you think the big guy will buy next. Roll up, Roll up...

John S, would love to. Not too familiar with knockhill though.
Planning a few trackdays for next year, fast smooth circuits seem to suit my cars "limited" suspension design (but unbeatable aerodynamics). Develops a surprising amount of grip - for all its fragility the GM 4x4 system actually works very well, very similar setup on the latest scoobs.
Pete, would be glad to have a chat, keep meaning to get to crail too. Need to sort a clutch that can handle it though! Try to see you up there early next year maybe?
Evo John, thats a "no" then?!
Vectra eh? Yeah right..................
What on earth you gonna get that'll compare with an Evo?

Pete,
any chance of putting the first letter of the reg. number in for the model years that are missing, with the exception of Chris G's all the later cars seem to have lower power at wheels and I'm still trying to work out a pattern from when the later cars became guttless.looks like 99 V reg onwards drop.

Oooops.
Forgot the barefaced plug for www.wallaceperformance.co.uk
Top bloke, top products, top service, best prices.
I am not in any way connected with the business, but he has helped me out a lot (water inj, seriously cool SPA gauges, etc, etc, etc) Has also gone to the trouble of importing any nice new kit I took a fancy to.
Tell Gav I recommended him!
Cheers
