I've booked Star Performance for 22nd October for some power runs. We need a minimum of 6 cars as per last time.

They now have the new fan set-up, to handle impreza layouts, along with the new 80mph+ front fan.

Contact me at johnp8@lineone.net to register your interest so that I can confirm booking.

Regards...John

I wish!!!

I've only had the car a week. I was at the last power runs with my Green UK MY98 around lunchtime.

It'll be interesting to see what my standard Evo will produce. I can only hope for the manufacturers figures.

Could you not do what that guy did to your own easily enough - Just I thought I had a run in with him on the way home from the shootout last time.

Hi John, the Evo looked superb. Did you enjoy the little shower on the way back form the Borders meet!!!? I just realised that I go on holiday on the 21st so will have to miss out this time unless you can change the date. Dumpsonscoob the Evo at the last power run came with Sam Elessar he may be able to put you together. Are you an Evo Stalker?

Not at all! Just we had a quick blast on the motorway and he was behind me in 4th then dropped off in 5th- just wanted to know the honest reason why. Hoped he ran out of gears or power but I'll never know.

Ken,

I presume it would be the same cost as last time. With a minumum of 6 cars, it would be £30 for a few runs, with coliur printed power plots to take away.

Question

Any takers, I have four confirmed people saying yes, unfortunetly this is not enough, although I know there will be more who will turn up on the day.

The Star Performance web site does not appear to be working, hence:
Where about are they? as would like to see what my std MY00 is producing but getting up early on a Sunday is not one of my favoured pass-times.

Thanks

Website seems fine to me

They are located in Glenrothes. You could probably turn up just before lunchtime and still get on if you are allergic to getting up early on a Sunday

Will be there, just checked and the Malaysian GP coverage starts a 7:45am, so will be up anyway. Anyone else heading though from Glasgow area let me know (before Fri 5:30pm) will save me trying to find my way.

Cheers.

nah - I was in my trusty sapphire bucket on the way down the motorway on the way back to glasgow when I had a play with an evo6. Its just the time, place and colour all matched so I thought it might be that car. It was about half way between glenrothes and glasgow.
Cheers

Talking

A fairly good turnout today. With top honours going to Mr Brown with his 22B giving 310bhp and "315lbs of torque" The car was lifting off the rollers at one point.

My Evo was giving 292bhp and 274lbs of torque, totally standard (for the time being!!)

The only other figure I can remember is the of Sams 'slightly modded' machine giving 275bhp and a monster 290lbs of torque.

A big thank you goes out to Dave and his guys at Star Performance for another good day. I dare say we'll see you all soon again.
