Did i hear you are looking for a set of Superleggeras?

How does 4 x 18" with 2 nearly new and 2 legal Toyo Proxes take you? Or you lookin' for 17's?

Anthracite btw.

Seventeens wise my shed has the same (IIRC) 50mm drop on H&R's as your car and the 18's have never caught on the cars bodywork. PLUS 17's look crap.

Dunno about a price yet mate but i'm not going to give them away. Picking up some Turini's when i get back home next week so want to experiment with them first. If they catch (8J rather than 7.5) then they go and i keep the SL's. If they don't then the SL's are going.

Only really suitable if you ain't in a rush though mate?

i ain't in a rush though, no, but i'll tell you just now, i reckon the turini's will catch unless the rear arches are rolled and the tyres are kept to 215's?

and i'm not in a hurry

17's were wanted purely for a weight aspect

Yeah i'm sticking to 215's (also waiting to see if the lack of rim-protection is going to p!ss me off sufficiently!! ).

Don't mind having a wee bit of arch work done. I rarely have peeps in the back but if they catch on my play-roads then measures will have to be taken!!

Will keep you informed dude.

Elmer had problems and had Eibachs IIRC. I think the wheels were changed for the thinner P1-WRC wheel before John bought it.

It doesn't look good but i will persevere.

The 215 tyre does not rub, but does lack rim protection, with the tyre being much further in than you'd like it to be.

Go for 225's and get the arches done if you are really keen on the Turinis.

I would John but i have 2x 215's in the garage at the moment which is 50% of the driving force behind getting the wheels swapped over now.

One very minor kerb mark in 18 months and 25,000 miles on the SL's should hopefully see me in good stead with regards rim protection...
