Does anybody ever see me?!?!
Hello,
Does anyone ever see me driving around - ever?!?
I passed a new shape/blob-eye WRX wagon (silver) this afternoon and got acknowledgement (just off Lothianburn Junction of Edinburgh City Bypass at Fairmilehead) and also I often pass a classic shape silver Wagon heading in the Penicuik direction on a morning circa 8:30AM.
Is this anyone on here?!?
I am in a Blob-eye Silver saloon with a Private Plate and UK300 spoiler.
Brian.

When are you normally out and about in the mornings / evenings etc and where abouts?!? Don't think I have seen you around.
Brian.
P.S. Look out for me - 2003 WRX silver, UK300 spoiler etc.

Usually commuting Mon - Fri from Motherwell to Livi (Deer Park), so normally M8, A71 or road through Harthill/Whitburn.
Evenings usually around Motherwell/Wishaw/Lanark area and weekends I'm usually away hill walking/running.

I will need to look out for you - I don't think I have seen an RB5 anywhere on the road near me at all.
Are you coming through to the Glasgow meet on Tuesday - a group of us are meeting at Newhouse roundabout before heading to lovely Glasgow, home of my forefathers!
Post up a photo, maybe someone will come onto to you - maybe evoJKP John or West Lothian Scoob Stevie (after a few drams).
Brian.

LOL, thank **** for that
I'm down in Lanark on Tuesday after work, so I'll not make the meet
Saw another RB5 on the A73 yesterday heading towards Newmains. Didin't recognise the car. Wonder if it's someone on here.

How many RB5's did they make. Spec me up - what did it get different from the standrad UK turbo?"
Have you done much to yours?

444 in total, although I'm sure there's been a few written off.
Came in two flavours - std RB5 or WR Sport. Spec over std MY99:-
Blue steel metallic body colour (colour code 86F which is "cool" grey on the STi imports)
Solid rear bulkhead (RB5 uses the STI6 bodyshell)
Fully colour-coded exterior (i.e. door mirrors, door handles, side skirts, front & rear under-spoilers, driving lamp covers)
Blue 'Alcantara' and suede-effect interior trim, with black 'jersey' surround on seats
Special graphite trim for the centre console
Air con
Special 'Speedline' 17in, 6 spoke, alloy wheels in 'pewter' colour with Pirelli 'P Zero' 205/45 ZR17 tyres
PIAA front driving light conversion for the fog lights
Prodrive quickshift
Roof-mounted map reading lamps
Special, RB5 side and rear decals (and also on driving light covers)
Special, RB5 embossed carpet mats
Special, RB5 interior-mounted, numbered plaque "Limited Edition" only 444 available!
WR Sport Version (same spec as above, but with the following additions):-
Prodrive High wing
Prodrive PPP (re-mapped ECU, STI de-cat centre section and Prodrive back box)
Prodrive Inter-cooler piping
WR Sport badge on Rev Counter
So, under bonnet it's the same as any MY99/00 in terms of performance. The WR Sport version again is the same as any MY99/00 with PPP fitted.
Most of the mods I've done are all suspension, other than fitting dome gauges and ICE. I've stuck all my mods on my website
