well lads, what can i say - i am about 2 months back into Scooby ownership again, and my engine has gone bang

i have had nothing my hassle with MY93 WRX since i bought it, all of which has been corrected and then this happens.

i am looking for any "decent" 2 litre/2.5 litre turbo engine that can go straight in places of mine with not much hassle.

Job as Automotive Services will be doing the work, i just have to find a good engine.

John B - how about selling me that 2.5 you have on order?? or finding out if they have any more engines for me??

i have a list of people im going to try today and see what i can get but if anyone can help - Please get in touch ASAP!!!

Sorry to hear this mate...

Will you not have some sort of warranty with the place that you bought it as you've only had it for 2 months??

Or at least, as a good will gesture, surely they might be willing to make a contribution towards the price of a new engine, as its only been a couple of months since you bought it!!

I do have a warranty mate, got 5 months left so hopefully a fair whack will be covered under that.

Its just a hassle mate i could do without.

I was just getting back into the scooby, with the new brakes making a big diff etc etc and then this happens. Now im gona be carless for about 2 weeks i reckon.

If you hear of anyone mate, give me a shout.

I have been offered a couple of engines already which is good news, its down to how quick i can get it down to Dunfermline and swapped over.

well lads, i have provisionally bought John Banks old engine
