Angry Bodyshop/paintshop in ABZ required ASAP!

I`m looking for the best bodyshop/paintshop in and around the Aberdeen area as some little c%$t has decided to key the bonnet of my Scoob. To say I`m feeling sick is an understatement!
Any recommendations people can offer would be greatly appreciated. Also anyone got a rough idea of how much a respray of a bonnet costs so I can prepare myself for the bad news.

Cheers guys,

Chris.

Try Kinghorn bodyshop out at Blackburn if they open today as it is a holiday weekend. My brother has used them a couple of times and I also know a few others that have used them and all were very pleased.

Thumbs up

Kinghorn are very good, you may find them quite expensive but you pay for what you get.

Yeah I`ve just given them a phone and they are quoting in the region of £400 for the respray. Everyone that I`ve spoken to about this has mentioned Kinghorn and that they are rally good but quite expensive. If anyone else has any other recommendations please feel free to make them but Kinghorn are easily the front runners.

Cheers,

Chris

I have to agree that Kinghorn is the place I'd go.

Infinity knows the owner and I know him through a friend of a friend (Hugh Keir, TOTB II winner).

Very good friend of mine recently had his door 'kicked in'. BMW quoted in the region of £900 to repair, Kinghorn were slightly more expensive IIRC. In the end he went to Mark @ Kemnay Autobody who did the job for sub £400, may have even been in the region of £250 - my memory escapes me.

The owner of the Wash Bay in Aberdeen recommended him and i'd also heard some of the Inverurie gang on here sing his praises so seconded the motion.

Have to say i was very impressed with the work personally. I need some door handles painted in the next couple of weeks so shall be paying a visit myself.

I went to a place just near Ardoe House Hotel, as it's the place Town and County Subaru use. I think the garage is James Kennedy, and they were really cheap and did an excellent job.

You see Scoobynet can be the greatest thing out for the Scooby owner but sometimes you just get to many options thrown at you!!! LOL
It takes me to decide what to wear in the morning let alone what bodyshop I`ll take my pride and joy to.
I still think Kinghorn is the front runner and unless anyone has some complete horror stories that`s where she`ll be going.

Thanks for all your advige guys.

Chris Graeme (Kinghorn) is a top bloke, I am sure he will look after you. I wouldn't take my car back to that place down deeside. I had my car in there getting a rear bumper sprayed, when I turned up to pick up the car the guys were wiping the dust off instead of washing it off I quickly told them to stop as I didn't fancy dirt being swirled around my paint work, luckily no scratches but you have to wonder what happens to your car when you leave it with other people.
