Got the car back...was getting mapped today and it all went Pete Tong...
My car and Gems just dont mix..
We got a few good runs in...then it started missing really bad.
Changed ECU, went fine for a while...then same again.
Turns out to be a Gems software issue.
Still...it`ll get there in the end...

Jacqui..They rekon i can use Gems, its just a case of them writing new software to suit the car (so they say)..

After Thursday It just showed . Defence is as good as Attack.

i don't think i would have a good feelin about an ecu if they couldn't get it to work with my car the first or even second time around bud. that stuff just doesn't happen in my mind. your ecu is removed so no brain untill the new brain is fitted!!!!! it runs your car. strange dude, very strange

Aye, tell me about it.
He said they had seen the problem before, but, again it was on a UK car same as mine (98-3 plug ecu)
But then....Scoty had the same as me, and his went in ok.
Maybes i should've went for that Link after all.
