Not fair, tell us, tell us, tell us. I can see Johns response now.
"Well I'm fairly pleased, she made 440bhp which I don't think is too bad but I suspect the rollers were being a bit optimistic. I'm now hopeful she'll have enough power to prehaps beat a standard EVO but I don't want to be presumptous"
Saxo Boys interpretation: Its fast as f*ck and kicks *** - bring on the Ferrari's

It did 434 BHP P-norm at 1.27 bar at 6470 RPM, and 395 lbft at 1.4 bar at 4470 RPM. Wheel power was 335.5 BHP.
I ran one extra turn on the Dawes to make it run the same boost on the rollers that it does on the road every day, and it was spot on.
I was running 10% methanol in Optimax as I run on the road.
Atmopheric pressure was high today, but this is corrected on the P-norm.
Intake temperature was high at 41C but this is very similar to a lot of previous Star runs with other cars.
I need about 16 BHP more to reach my project target. Some of this may come from improved induction and MAF removal still to be done.

good on you john, fantastic result! i presume your happy? will the engine be able to take upping the boost a bit, or is it still a bit of a test bed and are you turning the boost up the more you see it can handle it ok?

It has been mapped using Delta Dash Road Dyno and various mixtures/boost/timing. It gets hot and doesn't gain power with more boost. It is also a standard Subaru block with hypereutectic cast pistons so needs to be treated carefully.
It is being used every day in this spec. However, with a 10% drop in atmospheric pressure in the inlet pipe after 5000 RPM there is more "free" power to be had by reducing this drop. Then the turbo will be compressing a higher pressure to start with which will do wonderful things for the engine, this MAY get it to about 450 BHP at Star which is my final target on this engine.
To go a lot further it would be sensible to fit forged pistons and a larger turbo, especially since this is my daily driver whichi I depend on now.

Did go on the rollers. Dave.
Really to find out what had been lost after I/T had been backed of 6 degrees for safety due to oil ingress and resulting detonation.
Lost 30HP P-norm but only 5HP at wheels .With all curves smoother. So drives much the same so still happy .

Certainly appears a lot better now .
The fact that the oil had contaminated the whole of the inlet tract Resulting in 2 blown MAFs and a clogged intercooler.
Due to an overfill at last sevice.
Even after venting breathers to atmo, remaining contam oil was circulating through dumpV/V.
Now all cleaned out.
So yeh. det is now at bay.
So may afford to put some advance back. But may wait till internals are fitted(Maybe/sometime).
