Crail - Feb 8th...
If anyone is interested, then there is a convoy through to Crail organised for this Sunday.
It is being organised through www.dundeecruise.com and currently have around 40 names down for this, and thought I would post up here in case a few more Scoobs fancied joining us on the trip through…
The meeting point is Tesco Superstore, Riverside Drive, Dundee. Meeting time is 8.30 for a planned leaving time NO later than 9.30!! As a few of the faster cars want to get there early to get a few runs up the 1/4 before it gets extremely busy, to get our moneys worth!!
Anyone fancy joining up with us??
Cheers,
Grant

Short and to the point I suppose Sarah......
However 40 people who are members of our site would disagree with you!!
First Crail of the year as well, with magazine coverage and a TV Crew.. I think there will be a fair turnout, despite the cold!!
Cheers,
Grant

Thats why we are getting there early Kenny... So to get the best chance of beating the queues for the strip, it will still be queued at that time, but not as badly as it will be later on!!
£10 p/p, ok its alot.. IMO its too much for what you get, and the condition of the roads around the Airfield & Strip itself were awful last year , but it is more for the website I help run get a bit more exposure and publicity. Also, apparently things may have changed inside the place too, with different layout etc.
I'm going, I was just being polite by asking people on here if they wanted to come along with us!!
Cheers,
Grant

No danger is £10 per day per person too much for Crail. Imagine you have 2 young lads who are bored on a Sunday. For £30 you and them can spend the whole day watching all sorts of wierd and wonderful cars (fast and slow alike) racing each other. I've always thought Crail would be a great family day out for an observer. I think the cost of getting onto the track is the 'rip-off'

I think I'll go when the magazines/cameras aren't there. Then the queues shouldn't be too long, and there won't be burds there with plastic infested boobies the size of turbochargers. Got to get into the 11s, not look at boobies

you will just have to admit that your one is too small and that you need a big one like harveys.
a big modded tit/turbo will give you a bigger bang/smile , at the end of the day. you just need to make sure that your pump can flow enough fluids to match the increases

Alright mate, I am heading through from Dundee…
It is yet to be decided what I will be driving, either driving my scoob, or driving a friends ST205 GT4 with full Castrol rally graphics. He is just out of hospital, and I volunteered to take him through in his car as he thinks that the seats in the Scoob will irritate his back (where he had the op)
Check out dundeecruise.com for more details, we have a huge convoy meeting up at Tesco Riverside heading to Crail, numbers for this are around 40 at the moment, with more people meeting us in St Andrews en-route!!
Come along to that, everyone is welcome!!
Cheers,
Grant
