cant see it happening if the limiter cuts the ignition.. nitrous is a way of getting a larger volume of oxygen into the cylinders (just like using a bigger turbo/injecors would)..hence the need to fire in extra fuel along with it so it doesnt run lean.
i change up at around 7200rpm..the rev limit is 8200 and it cuts the ignition
if you have a limiter that cuts the pulse to the injectors(like some traction control kits use) then i,d say yes it could melt it as you will still be firing nitous in which will still ignite causing it to be dangerously lean. but i,d say that should be addressed when fitting it.
if nitrous is fitted proerly and in the right quantity it wont harm the engine
why you asking anyway?

oh no probs
thanks for the information dude
a mate told me i had to be careful if i was fitting one and mark said their is no problem he maps so many and maps a safe map so it wont blow
see i wont get my yrs warranty if i fit nos , so i will have to wait a yr , warranty covers the engine and mods but no nos thats why i wanted to know more about it, do i really want to fit it if its gonna be dangerous in the long run
cheers dude

i,m not really interested in getting a larger capacity..at the moment the cars doing everything i want on the strip and track (power wise anyway new suspension set up on the way) and its reliable so i dont want to change much other than give a little bit more gas to get some better 1/4 mile times

no.. i listen to the car and watch the counter and change up accordingly..besides it would be pointless..my cars peak power is 5-7k rpm..hitting the limiter would just slow it down
