well not mine actually..it belongs to a mate, its a 2002 wrx..you know one of those bugly ones

felt quite nice to drive but was pretty slow compared to say a standard saphire cossie..i dont know why but for some reason it reminded me performance wise my 1st ever series 1 rs turbo...i had a 2 year old one before they all turned into rotten sheds

id say it handled a little better than a standard escort cossie..but the looks cancel out any advantages.... the cossie looks are..er well..in a diffrent league

so now i have driven one i dont know what you lot all rave about..or have i missed something?

i think i need a drive in a modded one as that didnt do it for me

*flame suit on*

Allow me Pete...

I think you'll need to drive a modded one mate!!

I agree about the looks though, an Escort Cossie does look awesome IMO...

Cheers,
Grant

Think of it this way...

You drove a 2002 WRX - compare that to a Escort RS2000

Try driving an WRX STI Prodrive or similar - that's more equivilent to a Cossie...

... but as you pointed out, it will have SUPERIOR handling
