Did he know you were racing him?
Just because you were racing him doesn't mean he was racing you.
(I think this thread is a wind up)

Yeah, a 2.0 16v Corsa would give a totally standard UK Turbo a decent race, once up to speed, but throw in some rain, standing starts and
twisties and it will be a different story!!
.......also thought this was a wind-up thread!!
Cheers,
Grant

Er no! I think you'll find they are rather quick and by virtue of the fact you kept up with one so is your car. John Banks has a UK scooby that would blow the back doors off an M3/M5 and put the sh!tters up Ferrari's - should we now regard rarri's and M's as slow because John's modified scooby can keep up
Besides, 'slow' is a matter of perspective. To some people a VTR is fast as fvck to others an Tommy EVO could do with being a little quicker.

Sorry to be a stickler for details, but the current M3 doesnt have any back doors to blow off SB!!
I agree with what you have said though, all very true...

If it was an R reg then it was a classic scoob and would have blown the Corsa away. Ever considered that he wasn't even trying to race you ??
Threads like these don't really go anywhere ......they just annoy people. If you want to settle it then go up to Crail and have your face reddened

think what big eck is trying to say is standard tubbs are SLOW,from past experiences i belive a good 16v corsa which ways less than a *** packet would blow away a subaru, remember power to weight ratio, but then again every subaru owner thinks there cars are unbeatable,

LOL Slow
.......... Fiat siecento's are Slow
UK scoobs just arn't as fast as some other things out there.
you put a 2ltr lump in a Corsa of course it's going to be quick but it's a highly modded Corsa.
go have a race with a modded UK scoob and it'll leave you for dead , at the end of the day

They get locked as they eventually turn into a slagging match, which serve no purpose at all, and is of no use to anyone on the board.
