Anyone in Scotland have a spare radiator to fit my MY97 wagon?

Pressure tested today to find a small crack on the side.

Can they be reconditioned as the core seems OK?

Thanks

Dougster,

Same thing happened to me two weeks ago. U can get a recon unit for about £120 but, when I was phoning around there was a place in Bellshill that said if I took it off the car he could look at it and it would be about 25 quid to repair. Cant remember their name but it was in the yellow pages. That was after I explained it was a plastic tank type. Yet another place said they couldnt repair the plastic ones

So you could try them as well.

Will try to remember the name of the mob in Bellshill

£25 sounds good to me.

Glenburgie want £100 or £135 for a recon!!

Mine has a slight split at the side and core is completely undamaged.

Mmmmm Wouldnt get my hopes up about the £25 tho might be the usual trick to get u in

pretty sure it was Auto Radiators( Bellshill) Tel: 01698 844888

Mine wa exactly the same: Cores perfect long hairline crack on the front drivers side tank, apparantly its a common fault

Good luck
