I don't know if any of you watched Children in Need on Friday, but at 10:30 there was a quick splash of "Scotland's Alternative Skiers" skiing at Hillend.
It's a Scottish charity that enables people with all kinds of disabilities to ski, and I'm posting this as we desperately need more volunteer helpers. You don't have to be a brilliant skier, as we have all kinds of requirements, you just need a bit of patience and some free time on a Monday night (if you're in Edinburgh) or on Friday night (if you're in Glasgow). Even occasional help would be great.
We also run subsidised weekends to most of the main resorts through the winter, although these are always dependant on snow and finances.
If you fancy coming up and watching or lending a hand, let me know, or just turn up at Hillend from 6:30 on a Monday and ask for Dave or Wendy at the bottom of the main slope.
It's fun, there's always a meet in the pub after skiing, and it's a good chance to meet some new people as well as improving your own skiing.
Hopefully see you there !!
Dave

What happened to Sexy Blue Scoob?
Would love to help out guys, but as from next year I work Monday evenings.
Great cause and the people involved don't get the credit they deserve.
