John Banks may be able to give you advice but he no longer has commercial interest in ecu remapping.

do you mean you got one of john banks last 2.5's or is this a new version?

I could not get any more from a tek3 over a tek2.5. I ran a 2.5 for ages both on and off track and it was spot on. I then got a custom tek3 which felt better but was too close to the edge , as soon as the weather changed or I went on track the knocklink got active with very hard use. the car was remapped again and the result ended up back as a tek2.5.

as far as I am concearned the 2.5 is as good as it gets on a fairly standard car without having to worry and monitor everything all the time.

Well AWD told me that they had problems with the 2.5
The performance was not high enough for AWD. I was not prepared to tune them harder because of reliability concerns. AWD and I did not see eye to eye on tuning ethos in this or other matters.

Not a single car with a Tek 2.5 has had an engine failure.

Not that it matters that much now since I'm not supplying them anymore, but I thought I would set the record straight.
