Anyone in or around the Dundee / Perth area able to help me with a PC issue ?
I need all my files from my laptop backed up onto CD-rom.
I am selling the laptop and need all the stuff taken off it.

Cheers
PG

The PC has no CD-rw drive, firewire or networking port

If there are no firewire or usb ports there are only two ways of doing it - remove the 2 1/2" Hard disk and connect to a IDE cable on a desktop. Or use a double ended serial or parralel cable, this is so slow though - it would take days to back up a whole computer. If you have USB - you can spend £9.99 and buy a usb tranfer cable - with free software - this can backup at 12mb a second and is very simple to do
