Just to say thanks for stopping on the way home from the meet last night. Didn't have much time to explain due to traffic and that. I think what happened was your rear nearside tyre clipped a small bottle (plastic thank F***) which must have had something in it which bounced, shot up and landed straight into the air intake scoop on the bonnet ! As I got a fright I was unsure if it had actually jammed inside or not. On checking the car all seems ok not even a chip but thanks again for coming back to see what was wrong. Nice car by the way

 

Sorry mate, never saw the thing until after I heard a thunk from under my car. Was rose that said it musta been a bottle . Glad no damage was done, would have felt worse than I do now if there was.
Not a prob me coming back to see everything was OK, would help anyone I could neebs
And what do you mean by I was just gonna over take me LOL, was I driving THAT slow?
