Anyone in the Aberdeen area that has a Knocklink I could 'borrow' for a few moments ?

I fitted one myself last night and can't seem to get any lights to show on it. I just want to swap in a known good unit, before I send this one back.

I'm fairly sure it's the unit as the quality of the soldering leaves a lot to be desired, when it arrived all the LED's were dry jointed along with the control pot.

Ken - I'd love to help but mine is fitted into the dash so if you want to use it to check yours then I suppose we can do it at the monthly meet on Tuesday?

Ken,

Ive also got one fitted to the car although the control unit isnt stuck down yet and is just sitting in front of the gearstick if this helps you anyway. I'll be at Knockhill tomorrow as well.

Can also check it on the bench at work to see if will power up if you want.

Got it up and going, now. Found that the Adjustment pot only had 2 legs !

I have copied your design Rob and put a box with the 5 LEDs on the dash.

Gave it a quick thrash and so far have only managed to light 2 LED's maybe I need to put unleaded in and try again
